CONSERVATION STATUS

Least-Concern

The Dusky Warbler has a large range, estimated globally at 1,000,000 to 10,000,000 square kilometers. It is native to the United States and Mexico as well as many of the nations of Europe and Asia and prefers forest, shrubland, grassland, and wetland ecosystems. The global population of this bird has not been specifically determined, but it does not appear to meet population decline criteria that would necessitate inclusion on the IUCN Red List. The current evaluation status of the Dusky Warbler is Least Concern.
