Black-chinned Hummingbird Female - The female Black-chinned Hummingbird has a white throat and underparts, medium gray streaked cap with a brown-gray stripe under the eye and green upperparts. Tail is dark green with white corners.

Black-chinned Hummingbird - The male Black-chinned Hummingbird has metallic green upperparts, white underparts and green flanks. The face is black with a white spot behind the eye and iridescent violet lower throat.
